Although it came out well before the summer, we’re finally getting around to catching up with the latest season of Homeland. For those of you who haven’t seen the series, it centres around top CIA agent, Carrie Mathieson, who, as well as risking her life for her country, also battles her own demons at home with bipolar disorder. In this season, having left the CIA for good, Carrie is now living in New York and working for a non-profit legal defense office. That is until, one of her clients apparently blows himself up mere blocks from where the President-elect works.

Every season is a gripping roller coaster ride full of secrets, lies, twists and turns both on behalf of Carrie and her colleagues at the CIA. We won’t give away any spoilers, but this season follows the same pattern of Carrie risking everything, including her personal and mental well-being to serve her country. If you’re a fan of suspenseful thrillers, this series will not disappoint.
